Goats for Sale
SALES POLICY
Please read this thoroughly. By entering into a sale, you are agreeing to the following terms.
We reserve the right to retain any kid and to refuse any sale. It is our right, as breeders, to decide what sells and to whom.
No guarantees or warranties of any kind are expressed or implied.
All sales are made on a first-come, first-serve basis and all sales are FINAL! No refunds will be given and returns are NOT accepted, as the risk of disease transmission is too high. We have invested far too much into our herd to risk accepting returns. We can help to relocate the animal if desired.
A single goat will NOT be sold to a home with no other goats. They are herd animals, and as such, will not thrive without companionship. However, we may be able to provide a wether (castrated) companion.

Deposits/Holds
Deposits (in the amount of 1/2 sale price) are required in order to place a hold on an animal. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. No animal is considered held until said deposit has been received. Any animal must be paid for in-full, either by cash, paypal or check (check must clear with our financial institution before considered fulfilled) before it can be picked up.
Waitlist
No deposits will be taken on unborn kids, however you can be placed on a free waiting list if interested in kid(s) from a particular pairing. Once a kid from your chosen breeding pair has been born, you will have first right to refusal on it (if not retained to our herd). If you do not respond to multiple attempts to contact you, we reserve the right to offer that kid for sale.
Please note: paid reservations are given priority. If you want to ensure you get the kid you want, it is recommended you make a paid reservation as soon as possible.
** We reserve the right to retain any kid born, although we will try our best to honor reservations.
Animals not picked up after 7 days will be charged $2 per day boarding for a maximum of 14 additional days, unless mutually agreed upon by buyer & seller. If not picked up after said time and/or if you choose not to pay the boarding fee, you forfeit your deposit and the animal may be immediately relisted for sale.
Registrations
All adult animals sold as registered stock will come with their original registration certificate with signed transfer. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that these transfers are registered promptly with ADGA.
If not already registered prior to pick up, kids will come with Stamped Duplicate of Registration Certificate. Buyer/Seller will register kid(s) online through ADGA website at time of pick up and Stamped Duplicate of Certificate will be printed and sent home with each kid.
In each case, Buyer is responsible for all registration fees.
Shipping
Transportation assistance or shipping may be available. Contact us with any questions. It is the buyers responsibility to check their home state's laws regarding the transport and import of livestock.
Health/Certifications
Animals will be up-to-date on all vaccinations/deworming (if needed), tattooed and disbudded before leaving our property.
**Note on disbudding - occasionally, especially in bucks, scurs (pieces of horn growth) can develop after disbudding. In this case, contact us immediately and we can arrange to attempt a second disbudding. (This needs to be done quickly, before too much growth occurs. If allowed to remain too long without intervention, we reserve the right to refuse attempted second disbudding). Even with second attempt, we can not 100 % guarantee that there will not still be some re-growth.
All animals will be in good-health at the time they leave our property, but no guarantee is made for future health of the animal once it is no longer in our care. All of our adult goats are tested yearly for CAE & Johnes (results available upon request). We do not test for CL due to lack of testing reliability; however, no abscesses or swollen lymph nodes have ever been observed in our herd.
If you would like a health certificate for the animal you are interested in, we can make arrangements to have the animal reviewed by our vet. All health certificates and any related expenses are the buyers responsibility.
Guarantee
All animals will be healthy at the time of sale. Because we cannot control the animals environment after it leaves our premises, there is no extended health guarantee.
Show quality animals will be free of disqualifying faults at the time of sale.
We will replace any breeding stock sold who is deemed by a veterinarian to be genetically infertile (proof required). Animal and/or animal’s registration paperwork must be returned to us once deemed infertile.
